Kite Festival

Kite Flying • Food • Bar • Live Music • Entertainment • Kite Decorating

Join us at Boyn Grove Park (Punt Hill) for our Community Kite Festival on Sunday 1 September between 12pm - 4pm. It's free to attend! No tickets required - just come along on the day.

Round off the summer holidays in style with an afternoon of fun for all the community! Bring your kite creations, pre-owned or shop bought kites and join our team to fly them on the hill. Everyone is welcome, with or without a kite!

Find out more and book tickets for our Kite Making Workshops this summer here. You can also purchase a kite to decorate on the day for £5 (subject to availability).

As well as all the kite flying fun, the afternoon will include food from local vendors and a bar.

Don't forget to bring along your picnic blanket or camping chairs and get set for an unmissable afternoon of entertainment.

This year’s live performance headliner is Levantes Dance Theatre who present – High Tea (with a Twist). Dressed to impress as always, the Canapé Art twins perform dance and acrobatics above a tastefully laid tea table, and mingle with the crowd for selfies and a cuppa. Expect glittery cakes, outrageous costumes and theatrical high jinx in an explosion of bright colour and silliness!

Norden Farm Market

Visiting the market is the perfect way to spend your weekend.

Inspired by the summer night markets of southern France, we bring you a laid back evening of shopping and feasting to a backdrop of live music.

Take a seat at one of our outdoor tables to enjoy delicious food from our local vendors. Bring along your tableware (and tablecloth) to truly embrace the French spirit - and soak up the relaxed summer atmosphere!

Live music at September's event comes courtesy of Ooh La La! French Jazz. The dulcet tones of Parisian born Fifi la Mer's voice and the evocative sound of her accordion blended with the talents of Oliver Wilby on clarinet will take you straight back to that little café by the Eiffel tower before Oliver's exuberance and beautiful saxophone playing transport you to that buzzy jazz club by Pigalle.

Then take another circuit around the artisanal stalls to snap up a unique gift – go on, you deserve it!

Stallholders include Colourology, Skevoulla Gordon Designs, The Craft Workshop, Pizzaiolo Wheels and many more!

Free Entry

Sat 7 Sept 6pm - 9pm

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor markets.

If you would like to enquire about a stall at one of our upcoming markets, please email our team at markets@nordenfarm.org
