Yoga for Beginners (online)

Feeling the need to wind down and relax, have a little bit of time to yourself? Come along and enjoy some yoga and relaxation with Julie. Practice gentle spinal movements to relax and rejuvenate the nervous system, basic yogic breathing techniques and guided meditations.

Starting with Pastel (online)

A short course introducing pastel techniques.

This will be suitable for anyone starting with pastel or wanting to refresh their practice of basic techniques for soft (chalk) pastel. The variety of soft pastels and surfaces suitable for pastels will be explained. We will explore mark making, overlaying, hatching, blending, dry wash, broken colour and also the use of light, mid-toned and dark papers fixative sprays and storage of works.

Smart Phone, Smart Photos: Beginners (online)

Led by Elena Garcia-Juan

Photography is bound up in the history of technological innovations, from the invention of the Daguerreotype to the digital revolution. Each new technological breakthrough has shifted the way we see and represent the world photographically.

Through the theme 'The Sunny Season', students will practice basic principles of photography, composition and lighting that you can apply to your smartphone/tablet device.

Whether capturing a landscape, portrait or closeup, students will capture the most beautiful aspects of Spring, leading into a little photography competition.

Participants will be encouraged to take part in group discussions throughout the course. At its heart, mobile photography is about fun. The joy of having a camera available at those moments you want to keep, is what it’s all about.

Spring Flowers using Mixed Media (online)

The intention of these sessions is to explore mixed media and create a series of works based on flowers. Each week we will focus on different seasonal flowers and discover ways to combine mixed media in to creating art work. The sessions are bite size and are intended for individuals to develop their use of mixed media each week and then to carry on in their own time.

Learn about the stages of portraiture, drawing with charcoal from a live model. Students are taught about proportion, the structure of the head and tonal values. Experiment with creating contrast between light and dark (chiaroscuro) to depict facial features. Suitable for all levels of experience.

Suitable for all abilities, the workshops will focus on building confidence in your art making abilities - concentrating on the soothing journey of the drawing and playing with colour.

In each session explore drawing abstract patterns and the different ways you can enhance your designs using colour pencils and bright watercolours.

You will need: Paper, lead pencil, eraser, sharpener, black fine liner, colour pencils or Aquarell colour pencils, optional coloured fine liners.

Come together online and create some beautiful cards at these papercraft workshops via Zoom! Catherine will demonstrate all the techniques, skills, hints and tips required to complete your very own set of cards.

A full kit and instructions will be provided and you will get to keep the ink and stamps to carry on crafting with at home to make your own designs once you have learnt the basics in the workshop.

Learn all about minibeasts with Minibeast Madness! Decorate your own sun catcher and garden stake with the paint provided. Go minibeast hunting with the mini magnifying glass and record what you find.

Play the matching game and match the minibeast to their description. Have fun with your very own glow in the dark bug, caterpillar balloon and bug themed temporary tattoo!


Suitable for ages 4+ years.

This session will be fun for you and your little ones, please support where necessary and ensure that children are always supervised during the class.
