There are lots of ways you can get involved this year – like with our OnDemand Kite Kits.
Book your kit, collect from Norden Farm, access your OnDemand video from anywhere, get crafty, fly your kite!
Your OnDemand workshop video has been created by specialist kite makers, Community Kite Project. Your Kite Making Kit includes everything you need to make a Japanese Sode Kite - all you will need are pens to decorate your creation.
Make and decorate your kite to stand out in the sky at this year's Kite Festival.
Save the Date! The Kite Festival is back this year on Sunday 5 September. Join us at Boyn Grove Park (Punt Hill) between 12pm - 4pm for live music, food and drink, entertainment – and kite flying! Entry is free!

The perfect opportunity to browse for unique gifts, food and drinks as local artisan stallholders showcase their handmade wares and artisanal produce.
The Café Bar will be open serving lunch (until 3pm), drinks and snacks.
The Market on Sat 3 May will feature live music from Lawrie Wright and Natalie Mcfarlane. Lawrie and Natalie have been performing jazz together for over a decade. Both local musicians, they have gigged many venues across Berkshire and beyond. They are known for swinging classic standards from 1920 to 1950, as well as turning popular songs of today with their own jazz twist.

The Cookham and Maidenhead Arts Trail will be showcasing the work of many of the artists taking part in this year’s trail.
The local musician and songwriter has written original music for E4, CBBC and BBC Radio 4.
He has composed new musical theatre for Nuffield Southampton, York Theatre Royal, Soho Theatre and Trafalgar Studios.
As a performer, Rob played Pop in the International Arena Tour of We Will Rock You 2013 and won Best Actor at the DIMF Musical Theatre Awards in South Korea 2010. He has been musical director for the famous York Pantomime and at the Birmingham Rep along with several other UK theatres.
Rob has just finished writing his third children's cantata, one of which will feature at the Cookham Festival 2021. He runs the Norden Farm Community Choir and loves performing for a home crowd.
WHY? Playing guitar and some piano, Rob will be performing a mix of original songs and his take on some old classics.
