Led by Julie Potter
This class is suited to those who have been practising for at least 6. My intention for this class is to move our practise forward, explore different avenues and approaches to the traditional postures. We will be aiming to be going deeper into ‘awareness’ and ‘noticing’.
The yoga I teach is an evolution of over 20 years of practice and study, perhaps moving away from ‘external’ evaluation of the postures and moving towards an ‘internal’ sense of the postures, moving away from the more used traditional approach of systemised yoga to a more experiential approach. Whilst looking at traditional Hatha Yoga postures and pranayamas, I will be encouraging fun and freedom within the traditional structure, whilst taking into our awareness fundamental anatomical and functional aspects required by our bodies for maximum wellbeing benefits.
Please bring a blanket, a yoga / Pilates mat, and wear loose comfortable clothing.

This 4 week course is for people with all abilities, whether you want to come and give pottery a try or if you have some experience of working with clay.
If you are new to clay then Helen will guide you through exploring two different techniques, whilst more experienced learners may want to use the time to work on their own projects based on using Press Moulds and Slab Building.
You will spend three weeks exploring Press Moulds and incorporating Slab Building into your process. The final week will be spent glazing. This session will be slightly longer to give you time to decorate your pieces (3hrs).
Your work will then be fired off-site and then ready to collect from Norden Farm approximately 4-6 weeks later.
The price includes: clay, use of tools, underglazes, a selection glazes and 2x firing of your work.
You may want to bring with you:
Sketchbook for ideas / with ideas
Pens / pencils
A cloth to wipe your hands on
An apron
Any clay tools you may have.
A plastic bag to store your work
Helen will notify you regarding the collection of your work after the course.

The UK’s favourite tribute to The Jam continue to take venues by storm as they cement their position as the number one choice for devoted fans of The Jam.
The talented musicians are the real deal and guarantee to take you back to When You’re Young with their performances that give the same high energy, angst, aggression, passion and soul of their idols!
The high quality of their shows was rewarded with them being selected as finalists in the National Tribute Awards and they are the only Jam tribute band to have been awarded a tour with the O2 Academy network.
They not only play the hits of Weller and co. but include B sides and album tracks rarely performed by other Jam tribute bands – Jam fans won’t be disappointed.
So - if you are In the City, find yourself in a Strange Town, are Going Underground or are simply A Boy about Town - you have to see A Band Called Malice whether you either loved The Jam or if you just want the exhilarating joy of a classic gig.
