These Friday morning classes are intended for all ages and abilities and levels of experience, although beginners are advised to attend the later class. We will practise traditional breathing techniques (pranayamas), general yoga postures (asanas) with some relaxation.

Make Silver Jewellery 1

Led by Janet Richardson.

Beginners learn techniques including sawing, filing, polishing, ring making, stone setting, texturing, doming and soldering, to make some beautiful jewellery. More experienced participants are taken forward with their skills.

Suitable for all levels of experience. Materials cost to tutor for 5 weeks £28 (approx).

Monoprint and Mixed Media

Led by Karen Carter.

Through a series of experiments spend a day learning the art of monoprinting. Working primarily with direct or ‘drawn’ monoprints we will play with markmaking, working on collaged and painted backgrounds, combining layers and incorporating pastel and washes.

A fun and informal day – no experience necessary. Lots of demonstrations and individual help.

Parent and Baby Screening
The screening on Tuesday 23 January at 11am is exclusively for parents with children under 2 years. Lights are kept on low level and you can move around if you need to. Tickets are £5.50 for adults (including a cup of tea/coffee); babies and infants are free of charge. Seating is unreserved and unaccompanied adults are not admitted.
