Brush lettering is a modern form of calligraphy that can be practiced everyday and even on the go. Just put a brush in your bag and you’re all set.
It is not only a way to make beautiful notes for people to make them feel good but a great way to practice mindfulness.
This workshop includes a personalised take home kit of a notebook, a brush pen and some extra heavyweight paper.
In the 4 hours you have together, you will be tackling exercises of the basic forms of brush calligraphy while being able to add your own personal flairs once you establish the basics.
By the end, you will be able to write your name, self-love quote and or address a letter for someone you love.

The Royal Ballet celebrates the breadth of Principal Choreographer Kenneth MacMillan’s one-act ballets, Danses Concertantes, Different Drummer and Requiem.
Danses Concertantes, commissioned by Ninette de Valois in 1955, was MacMillan’s first major work. An early sign of the incredible artistic output that would follow, the work’s critical success spurred MacMillan to abandon performing in favour of choreography. It is followed byDifferent Drummer, MacMillan’s complex and haunting balletic interpretation ofWoyzeck, Georg Büchner's play about a soldier’s descent into madness. The mixed programme concludes withRequiem, his 1976 work for Stuttgart Ballet, created in memory of its late artistic director, MacMillan’s friend and former Royal Ballet dancer and choreographer John Cranko.

Always wanted to learn guitar but never got around to it? Want to trade your air guitar skills for real guitar skills? It is never too late to learn. Learn guitar right from the very beginning. This is a foundation course for those with little to no experience of playing guitar. You will learn how to hold a guitar and to make the right noises out of it. The aim of these lessons is to get you playing your first song within 4 weeks of lessons, as no-one takes up guitar to strum random chords, it’s all about the songs.
If you are returning to guitar having not played for some time and can barely remember chords this is a great way of getting back into the swing of things.
If you've never played guitar you need to book on the Absolute Beginners course!
These classes are split by skills level;
Beginners A - Recently completed the Absolute Beginners course but still some way to go. Yet to tackle bar chords and complicated rhythms.
Beginners B - Well on the way and able to do bar chords
Beginners C - Almost Intermediate but not quite yet.
