Amanda Schenk is the visual artist behind Norden Farm's much-loved (and Instagrammed) glass corridor artwork in the school holidays. Join Amanda for this new drawing course, aimed at helping to create a sense of calm and relaxation through drawing patterns.
Suitable for all abilities, the workshops will focus on building confidence in your drawing abilities - concentrating on the soothing journey of the drawing experience, rather than the finished drawing.
In each session you'll explore how to produce different types of patterns in abstract drawings - looking at different designs each week.
You will need: paper (plain, no smaller than A5), lead pencil, eraser, sharpener, black fine liner or a pen. Optional is a black marker.

Dir: Maryam Touzani 2022 | 122 mins
In a Moroccan town Mina runs a small shop selling traditional caftans created by her husband, master tailor Halim.
Their artisanal enterprise struggles in the modern world. Further complications arise when Halim finds himself attracted to the shop’s new apprentice Youssef.
An emotionally complex, richly empathetic depiction of a partnership sustained through storms and challenges.
‘It’s a gentle piece of Arabic-language storytelling, one that softly, slowly enfolds the audience rather than propels them on a journey’ ★★★★ Observer
‘The film, only the second feature that Maryam Touzani has directed, is a stunning portrayal of marital sacrifice and devotion’ ★★★★ The Times
‘... The unapologetically accessible The Blue Caftan is something of a high-class tear-jerker, but of a mature, insightful kind’ ★★★★ Financial Times
‘Intimacy in its purest, most palpable form’ ★★★★ Little White Lies
‘A film that oozes love from almost every frame’ IndieWire
