Align and Flow Yoga

Led by Deborah Le Vene-Page

Align and Flow Yoga is influenced by the biomechanics and heart orientated philosophy of the Anusara Hatha style of yoga. With a specific alignment focus within the flow of postures the practice will tone and strengthen the body, improve posture and create more freedom in the body and mind resulting in a calm and relaxed state of being.

Each week there will be a different theme weaving its’ way through the session, but a typical class starts with breathing techniques to centre and ground, poses to warm up and then progresses to a fun and challenging mix of vinyasa and alignment yoga.

This class is designed to cultivate focus, stamina, strength, and flexibility. Leaving time at the end for a well-deserved relaxation.

Come prepared for an energising class that will also leave you feeling relaxed.

Mixing Greens for Landscape: Watercolour or Gouache

Led by Jo Hall

Colour mixing exercises followed by a landscape painting.

“I haven’t got the right green.”, “I can’t mix the right green.”, or “This green is unnatural.”, are frequent comments I hear at landscape sessions. This workshop will help you to use primary colours to mix the greens you need and also how to tame some of the fiercer greens in your box to create really useful natural looking greens by mixing with other colours.

Reference supplied or bring your own. Some watercolour paper will be available at cost.

Please scroll down for info on materials to bring.

Hulla Balloony Moon Time

Presented by Long Nose Puppets.

A marvellous moonlit show based on the book Pat-a-Cake Baby.

'Cake mixing, baking and eating fuel this zingy, high-energy story as a restless baby sets about a night-time adventure.’ Guardian

Are you ready? Grab a spoon! Because it's Pat-a-cake time!

Pitter-patter – get the butter! Glitzy-glossy – whisk in sugar! Jokey-yolky – add the eggs!

Long Nose Puppets offer up a marvellous moonlit show full of riotous rhyme, zany puppets and spiffy special cake; all iced with music and songs by Tom Gray. Little children will feel stuffed to the brim with magic.

HULLA BALLOONY MOON TIME is based on the book ‘PAT-A-CAKE BABY’ written by Joyce Dunbar and illustrated by Polly Dunbar.

Winner of the Mal Peet Children’s Award at the East Anglian Book Awards.

Aimed at 2-8 year olds.

Longnose continue to demonstrate their skillfulness in making surprising and highly visual puppetry work for young audiences. Sweet!

Running time 45 minutes plus a dance with the moon!

This zany puppet show is all about baking a very special cake. Based on Joyce Dunbar’s rhyming picture book, it’s a sweet creating that’s full of mess and silliness with original songs as the cherry on the top. Time Out
